Hiring Sales Manager

Seeking a talented sales manager to grow our Charlotte North Carolina sales office. Tired of feeling looked at as a number or underappreciated?   • If you're a passionate individual with a desire to lead, we want you to join our team.
  • Your primary responsibility will be to qualify, identify and close new sales leads through canvassing qualified neighborhoods, referrals, networking and social media channels.
  • You'll be required to maintain a high level of trustworthiness and integrity .
  • In addition to your sales duties, you'll also be required to conduct exterior property inspections for wind and hail damage, which will be converted into a viable claim filed and signed contract.

Jordan Edwards and Kelly Adams met while working in the property management business in 2004 during Hurricane Charlie.

“We learned a lot about Customer Service in property management,” Jordan said. “We brought the standards of a professional property management company to a roofing company. That’s what really separates us in how we market ourselves.”

JA Edwards of America, Inc., was started in 2009, and Jordan and Kelly went from state to state – never for more than a year and a half. “All the way from Minneapolis, to Ohio, to Phoenix, and when we got to North Carolina, we definitely wanted to stay, so that’s where our first official office was,” Kelly said.

Now, JA Edwards of America, Inc., has grown with offices in Orlando, Jacksonville, New Smyrna, West Palm Beach, and Tampa Bay, Florida; Raleigh and Charlotte, North Carolina; and Nashville, Tennessee.

“From the beginning, I ran the operations side,” Kelly said. “I am more detailed, and Jordan is the entrepreneur.” Those first few years were really grinding and it wasn’t easy, but strong relationships were formed. “When you go through such severe ups and downs, it can really take a toll on the relationship, but we were really able to grow and get stronger from it. Throughout those first five years, we were able to start building our strong foundation with a core team.”

Lynn Anello, who handles operations today for JA Edwards of America, Inc., out of the Orlando office, worked with Kelly during her property management days. “Everything is very professional – how we want our sales guys to look, all the way down to our crews,” Kelly said.

Kelly said, “It’s been a wild ride, but there was never a moment of we-gotta-do-something-different.”

Jordan said, “I never would have been able to do it without her. We are such a good team in working together.”

MUST HAVES:

2 years roofing sales experience

Sales management experience

Positive outgoing personality

Pay: $150,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year

Compensation package:
